Purpose To determine whether preoperative patient-reported outcomes (PROs) predict postoperative PROS and satisfaction following rotator cuff repair.
348 patients having rotator cuff repair
Preoperative ASES score
1 year postoperative ASES score
Postoperative improvement
- Patients with lower preoperative scores have more improvement than patients with higher preoperative scores
Patient satisfaction
- Patients with higher preoperative scores have high satisfaction
Conclusion Preoperative patient-reported outcomes predict postoperative clinical outcomes following rotator cuff repair.
